What Apogee Coin Solves
Services comprise approximately 80% of the global economy and US job market. The global event market is valued at nearly $2 trillion dollars. The US wedding market alone is valued at nearly $6 billion dollars and the VR/Metaverse market has quickly grown into an estimated value of just under $1 trillion dollars worldwide.
Despite this multi-trillion-dollar market, the event industry is composed mostly of gig-workers who offer their services part time which limits opportunity. Most event services are providing by small single-owned companies who all compete with one another for advertising and market share. The average wedding business only takes in about $25,000/year. This limits their advertising budgets and client acquisition opportunities. There are very few professionals who earn a living despite their ability to deliver a highly sought out service for a once in a lifetime event.
Difficulty in sales for the event market is due to the single owner/operator wearing to many hats. Apogee Coin provides sales support staff and, the state's largest mobile operation to fulfill event contracts. This ensures we have representatives across the state who make contact with other professionals and venue owners.
Technology has allowed and enabled “add to cart” consumer shopping habits. Consumers easily accept new online shopping conveniences at a growing rate, yet there are no event vendor companies who have built an online marketplace for their services. Nor are there any who use the exchange of a crypto currency to pay the physical event teams and manage reservations. Current companies who offer a service marketplace in USD or other government currencies rely on third party contractors for advertisements and the fulfillment of events which cannot be combined into a single convenient offering.
For weddings, the result is the average couple spending 250-500 hours planning a wedding which costs an average of $30,000. There is no “go-to” company which provides these convenient services to the client, except Apogee. Competition and lack of multiple offerings from single owned and operated business inflate the cost of event production which is passed down to clients. The time off work planning, late nights seeking vendors, and money involved is taxing on clients.
The industry standard for client acquisition is 10%. Our model lowers this cost by allowing each department cross sell and get clients to the point of sale quicker than anywhere else. Because multiple services can be bundled inside the one-stop shop, margins can be decreased on some items to provide lower cost.
Online events have growth astronomically in recent years due to the ease of adaption and developing technology. VR/Metaverse events provide unique social experiences and opportunities for clients looking to have a safe, cost effective, engaging, and customizable events. Apogee Coin builds these event centers where service professionals can be hired to work or perform at the event.
